Sat Chit Ananda

Moola Mantra: Om  Sat   Chit   Ananda  Parabrahma Purushothama Paramatma Sri Bhagavati Sametha Sri Bhagavate Namaha  Sat  = Being, Existence, Truth  Chit  = Consciousness, Conscious Intelligence  Ananda  = Bliss Parabrahma = The (conceptual) Supreme Being in its Absolute aspect. It is the Ultimate Reality, beyond space and time, the essence of the universe, both with form and without form. The Supreme Creator. Purushothama = Purusha has different meanings including Soul, Person or Spirit. Uthama means the supreme. Purushothama is the Supreme Spirit which pervades the universe. Pursha also means man. God relates to humans as though God were a human. Paramatma = Primordial Self. Atman is the Higher Self of human beings and Paramatman is the Higher Self of God (sometimes interchangeable with Ishvara). It is the Divine Transcendent which has entered into creation and is immanent in the heart of every individual. It's the Antaryamin (inner controller) who indwells either formless or in any form desired. Sri Bhagavati = The Divine Feminine aspect of creation, which is characterized as the Supreme Intelligence in action; the Power (The Shakti). Sametha = Together or in communion with. Sri Bhagavate = The Divine Masculine aspect of creation, which is unchangeable and permanent. Namaha = Salutations or prostrations.
