Last night I woke up in shock.
All night it couldn’t stop.
It was loud and scratching sound
Rats were jumping all ‘round.
All night long, in the frightful dark…

All night I heard they jump.
All night I heard they stomp.
It gave me such a shock-
King Rat said: “Dig That Rock!”

All night I laid in sweat.
I’ve found they ate my cat.
They scratched behind the door. 
King Rat said: “Go Rat Go!”

All night they did rat race
All night they ate my cakes
Throughout the night, so wild, 
They moved in ol’ rat style.
