My Bitter Overstrain

This spooky night I am walking in the rain
I am very tired to continue on my way
Avoiding the other humans, living all alone
I am curious who will soften my grief, my dismay

The leaves are falling down to my feet
I am treading on them quite indifferent
My mind is free like a flight of a bird
But my legs are heavy to carry on

The falling drops of rain are accompaning me
Along with the starless cloudy sky
Half-dead I am tumbling down on my knees
Asking the goddess Shiva for power, for stamina

Behold the sky and see the clouds crying
Keep your providential spirit, keep your brawn
Behold the ground in the sadness drowning
You ought to recover because the curtain is drawn

With open soul I am diving into my memories
They are grand but veiled by the sorrow
Now is the time to gather all my strength
Because I wish to live and see tomorrow
