Wandering around the meadows,
Running up the hill,
Jumping on the soft grass pillows
I saw a lady standing still.
She began ti sing a lullaby.

She was singing in the moonlight
On the mountain top,
She was waiting for the white knight
At her lonely brougham stop.
She saw a black one nearby.

Of the midnight dancer.

She ran away into the black,
Disappeared in the night.
I tried to catch and get her back
But night decided to divide
