High tide in a sea of light
We’re only young and we’re shot into the night
If I am lost I don’t want to be found
 
The sun is shining from behind a mountain
Hiding in secret, giving little away
And I don’t know if this is late night or a new start
 
And if all this should go to waste
I would waste it all my life
So we’ll run on for something new
And keep climbing lamp posts just for now
 
Running through the streets of London in a dinosaur costume
We’re far away, no way to see where we’re going
But we like it that way too
 
Oh, I can hear it calling years from now
From a stranger with a megaphone that we passed by
single light shines brighter in the dark

Might have to stop just to play here on the avenue
