Somewhere to Be

I went down to Detroit, I stopped in Sweet Chicago... 
I had me a Vintage suit & where I learned to dance... 
Everywhere I went girl, got all these normals looking at me... 
Saying son where you going? Who you wanna be? Oh my...
I said, I don't really like these boxes you keep your people in... 
They could see in my eyes I had somewhere to be...
Grant me some Wisdom... 
Grant me a little Strength... 
Lend me some Peace of mind, so I can be...

Gathered all my things... 
Said my last Goodbyes... 
Over a few pints I sat & cried... 
I said I looked under the couch babe... 
I looked under the rock... 
But I can't find my Happiness anywhere...No, No... 
So I'm heading out West babe... 
Where no one knows my name... 
And a drop in the hat, well it's hard to find... 
I know that I'll be like a raindrop in the Ocean... 
But it sure as hell beats being around here...
