Burdens

Bite your tongue. I will always be mistaken for someone that I am not and your judgement will only be obscured. visionary of a broken boy, I will be damned with temptation to take a chance to make everything right again and put it all into place. You can forget your stubbornness but I can't forget mine. Get off your pedestal and come back down to what you know. For what it's worth I hope you're free of all the burdens that you let there be but you're moving with steps that get you nowhere. If only you could make one wish, just don't wish for me to make you happy. It's so far gone now we can see the end, but there's one thing that keeps pulling me back in. You wish that I could fall faster for you. Well girl your wish came true. So stop playing with my heart and my mind and rather than trying to make a stand, we could build a better world with our bare hands. We could build a better world.
