Poetry Issues

Tonight we're all alone 
Together we can share my homemade scones 
It would make me feel so happy inside 
I'm serious it would make me feel alive 
And all though it would make you wanna die I really think should give this a try 

I heard you whisper in my ear 
"I got problems of my own dear" 

I show you my hometown 
and you pray for it to slowly burn down 
While you're putting on your golden crown 
I dive into the black water and drown 

With bandages around your right arm 
You look like you need a mound of patience 

I heard you whisper in my ear 
"I got problems of my own dear, 
You're not the only one around here." 
To me that didn't sound at all wierd 

(Why are you laughing?) 
I hate it all, I hate it for no reason 
I try to keep up with what you think I should be 
For what it's worth, it's nothing I approved of 
To me you're nothing but a [bad word] waste of time
