Apple From The Tallest Tree

Sometimes things they happen suddenly,
Grow from a seed into a tree.
When conditions are in harmony,
There’s a blossoming amongst the leaves.

farmer digs his field up with a plough,
But he cannot control the drought breaking.
Could end up buried in the barren ground
And I’m praying for a rain cloud.

The first bite is with the eye,
The first taste in a long time.
The first bite is with the eye
And my appetite is coming back to life.

I dont want the supermarket chain,
Where everything is on dispay.
All the fruit it seems to look the same,
Everything else has lost its taste.

Like a flower that’s amongst the weeds,
I want to take you home with me.
I pick an apple from the tallest tree
And I know its gonna taste so sweet.

The stars are out tonight,
The moon is full and bright
But I promise I wont bite.
