Jack And The Flum-flum Tree

Jack had a Granny and his Granny had spots
Grid big purple ones lots and lots
The Doctor came and he shooked his head
Your Granny has the Moozles the Doctor said
And the only cure in the world said he
Is the fruit that grows on the Flum Flum tree
And the only place that the FlumFlum grows
Is the faraway Isle of Blowyernose.
So Jack built a boat and Jack found a crew
Red cheeked Rose and stubble cheeked Stu
And he said to Stu and he said to Rose
“We’re off to the Isle of Blowyernose”
Granny came down to the dock with Jack
And she gave him a bulging patchwork sack.
And in that sack would a pair of wooden spoons
porridge ball handpacks some red and blue balloons
Granny's old [bad word] rope a pack of chuwing gum
Three spoty handkerchiefs and a tom-tom drum
And the Jack said Granny what is the use of those
Ahha said Granny and she tapped her nose
Than off-sailed Jack with Stew and Rose
For the faraway Island of Blowyournose
Shacks cried Rose Nots cried Stew

 So off set the children for you and me!

And soon after that- a problem at Sea!

 “Don’t get your knickers in a twist” said Jack

“Let’s have a look in the patchwork sack.”

“It’s blocked” cried Rose

“Can‘t pass” cried Stu

The dolphins want to play-whatever shall we do?

“Don’t get your knickers in a twist” said Jack

“tin of sardines that ‘ll do the trick

Peel it back, yank them out, throw them in quick.”

The dolphins darted over when they saw the tasty fish

They swam away quickly with their scrumptious dish.

 Then came a problem with the new boat

It started to leak water just like a moat

 

“hole” cried Rose

“It‘s coming quick” cried Stu

“The boat is drowning, whatever shall we do?”

 “Don’t get your knickers in a twist” said Jack

“Let’s have a look in the patchwork sack.”

“cork! Plug it in- plug it in quick!

Hopefully, fingers crossed that should do the trick.”

 Soon it began to rain and gale!

Oh no next a problem with the sail!

 

“ The sail!” cried Rose

“It’s fallen down “cried Stu

“How are we going to get it up? Whatever shall we do?”

“Don’t get your knickers in a twist!” said Jack

“Let’s have a look in the patchwork sack.”

“Please get that noisy, loud and out of tune choir!”

 But before they sing badly, the sail got higher

“Oh no!” cried Rose

“Look up there” cried Stu

“The sail has fallen down AGAIN -whatever shall we do?”

“Don’t get your knickers in a twist” said Jack

“Let’s have a look in the patchwork sack.

Aha! Some duct tape that should do the trick

Stick it down, wrap it round, quick quick QUICK!

Good old granny giving us the tape

When I get back I‘ll give her a  cake.”

As they crossed over the dark stormy seas,

Came a dreadful problem worse than bees!

 

“Look Dolphins” cried Rose

“In the way” cried Stu

“They’re stopping us from getting there- whatever shall we do?”

“Don’t get your knickers in a twist” said Jack

“Let’s have a look in the patchwork sack.”

“Looks here’s a football that will keep them busy

Spin it round, throw it in, that’ll make them dizzy.”
