The rider wakes before the dawn
And sees the break of day
He mounts his metal charger
And quickly speeds away
The dust of generations
Kicked up as he rides by
Cactus and chameleons
Are all that watch him ride (Yeah)

The ride is long and tedious
His eyes begin to tire
The sun that beats down on his head
Gives birth to mental fire
He rides on through the midday heat

He must now reach his quest
