Mixed up in smoke, "losing way"; a daily battle against ashen solitude

The number of sighs was growing by the day
small radiance that prayed to an empty sky

An adult's situation full of spaces
Seemingly close yet growing distant...
I caught a glimpse of a "future" I could wander
"Correct" or "mistake", there wasn't such a definite thing
Just nodding in assent in the fleeing time...

The pair being washed away; just hesitation

Piling up "feelings" were growing stronger; I questioned it often

Nothing to compare on the right or left
