“Shhh, don’t say another word,” Death said to me.
“Just pack up your belongings and then come with me.
I’ve got one thing to show you – the thing that matters most.
Tonight the world ends. Fires from coast to coast.”
So then I stood there while Death held me still.
I watched as the world burned and all the nations fell.
I watched as wives cried while their husbands died,
crying to the heavens, asking God, “Why?”
Just like a miracle, God came from the sky.
He said, “Take a look around, you really gotta ask why?
You did this to yourselves, I’m not to blame.
You played those silly [bad word] games and now you should all be ashamed.”
So I just stood there. I just stood there and watched.
Because God was right, this was all our faults.
So what are we supposed to do when we are all about to die?
Grab a [bad word] torch. Burn this place tonight.
