I'v been staring blankly at
The world I used to call home
Locked behind this glass prison
Incarcerated years ago

The supernatural discriminated 
Nothing's changed since my exile
Unable to intervene as long as
I'm stuck behind these walls

I was made an example of
for I had a different view 
Towards the ones they feared
To the ones I defend

(Who's to say) I protect the weak
(Humans) From disgusted stares 
(Can't coexist) You labeled them monsters
(With unworldly beings?) Yet are we any better?
(Stand in) When I make my escape
(Their position) My opinion will remain the same
(And tell me) As long as humans refuse 
(How you would feel) To open their minds

I have a dream that one day humans and the unnatural can live together peacefully
Mark my words: I'll escape to fight for those I truly care for

When I make it out
I'll preach until I lose my voice
