Enslaved by the darkness surrounding 
These are desperate moments 
These are days of self denial 
These are times of oblivion 
So we walk this road alone 
We are the broken souls that have lost their homes 
But with acceptance 
Will come serenity. 

There is always light

There is always hope 
In blackened eyes 

I see spite in the eyes of the tortured 
I feel the fear in the hearts of the weak 
I hear the rage in the voice of the scorned 
Sometimes the path to love is filled with hate 
So let the voiceless scream 
We will not give up 
We will overcome
