Poison 

It's the snakes, 
with their mouths, 
under their pants, 
Hissing and foul, 
Under nightgowns, 
that's where it begins, 
when they speak you can hear the lisp, 
long, skinny and quick, 
a poisonous mix, 
can you feel it like bugs under your skin? 
Itsy bitsy pin-pricks, 
on the back of your neck. 

The way they talk, 
The way they walk. 

For one, for all, 
came for love, 
and watching pain fall, 
Out of fate's mouth, 
Out of Nightgowns. 
Frown on it, 
but couldnt kill it, 
It was something inside of them, 
a kind of venom that us kids and parents dread, 
kind of venom that us boys and girls dread, 
kind of venom that us men and women dread. 

We want out and away, 
From up out and away. 

they've got something to tell us, 
They're gonna take our rights away.
