Sunset (The Death of Thumbelina)

Four four almost finite
When I peeked inside
I did not see chalice nor grail
God wasn't there
In the darkness
The curtain tearn
I have already seen -
Black ships ate the sky
The dusk blue broke open
And I laughed at bottles
The trees all fall and I hear collapse
But smile and nodded and watch the dim sunset
Whilst the [bad word] clash
The bleak glass domes
Make shivers in my peacock eye
And I am all Thumbelina
I died for you all
And if I took the time
When I took your time
And you sleep this time all the way home
And watch the eggtimers bubble and wink
With a face behind a gun
That sleeps behind the owl
I saw the matineé is in town sunset
And we tumble into the cardboard sunset
Dim
Birdsong
Teethless
Sunset
The flowers smile
