there's poison ivy in the garden

climbing up the trees 
eating up the happy flowers 

dandelions in the yard 
dozens of them growing wild 
why don't i just pull the weeds 
am i really such a coward 

i used to spend so much time 
wandering around outside 
now i've got too much on my mind
