Spider Ridden Bats

Split down the middle like a stake into dirt
Cranium to ankles my achilles tendon rips
It snaps and retracts to my spine and upper back
Spreads across my shoulders tense as spider ridden bats
Gurgling and churning my minds in a struggle 
To contain my deepest thoughts of death strung out to miracles
Joy and ambition, silence and submission interlock together like waves pounding crystals
So we.. 
Run for the shore
Escape the pain we felt before
Run for the shore
Black out screaming on the floor
Run for the shore

This time around I’m not gonna be a fool
As I tread through the valley seeking out the “golden rules”

Scrambled colours mingle as falling liquids swallow
Open wounds in acid dipped in salt too
