Repentance

You see the world through closed eyes 
Sown shut with ignorance 
So blind to words of reason 
Empty shells beneath contempt 

Tortured mislead ensnared 
Mankind enslaved guilty 

Forced into your own grave 
Buried under your own lack of will 
Crushed under the weight of arrogance 
Actions of a mind enslaved 

As I look upon a world devoid of beauty 
I cry for things that I can't change 
As compassion abandons me 
As I scream for winds of plague 

No more wishing for redemption 
The time for sorrow has now passed 
Steeled against a world of filth 
Pray for death and our extinction

Desecrated by design 
Rejected by cold reason
