My Devil Danced With His Demon

These homicidal tendencies have left so many bewildered. 
But only you hunted the scent,
If only they could take a count of the debris in the water.

Self-defense, pressed back to the wall,
The eyes meet like daggers in the night.
Clouded by the misconceptions of love.

Only in dreams, my recollection is re-gathered.
“Only brought back by a vision of a bloodbath”.

It’s been cast aside for so many years,
To understand you got to keep these [bad word] 

tear in the eye as it wells in your throat. 
All it took was a single slit and a little elevation,
Finally my emotion shows.

Who would have thought you would have been
Persecuted on your own stage? 

Now everyone’s calling it suicide,
But killing your own is like ending a legacy.
The way you’d always want it...
