One Last Dance

I knew an old man once 
He told me "Don't you dance" 
And if I ever did 
He'd told me, I'd die 
week or so did pass 
I found this pretty lass 
She asked me "Won't you dance?" 
I would but, I'd die 

I stopped and wondered, did he really mean what he said? 
If I jiggied with that pretty girl would I end up dead? 
All my life these feet have been glued to the floor 
If I didn't now would I even get the chance ONCE MORE?

I stopped and wondered, did she really mean what she said? 
Such a pretty girl all alone every night in her bed? 
This whole night these eyes have been glued to her face 
If I didn't now would I even get the chance to TASTE HER EMBRACE?
