Night is creeping softly,
She’s spangled with stars.
The lights are spilling devoutly
Their cold charms

She’s a mysterious rambler,
She steals the past.
She opens her eyes of amber
And we fall into dust.

          Don’t you hear the rustle?
          Nox turns a key.
          Inside her quiet castle
          All we shall be.

          She’s Mother of darkness,
          Nox casts her spell. 
          Bring me into silence.
          I know, she shall

She’ll sing a silent cradle,
You’ll hear her lulling sighs.
In kingdom of shadows
The time completely dies.
