1. METAPHYSICS is an Italian progressive metal band formed in 2005 by vocalist Davide GABRIELE, guitarist Davide PERRUZZA, bassist Matteo RAGGI, and drummer Marco AIELLO. Quickly after formation, the band began composition. In 2007, the band's first demo, Evolution, was released and was well-received by the Italian music press. The band played a number of shows around Italy gaining a fanbase and spreading their music.
In 2011 the band returned to the studio to begin work on their first studio album. The band worked quickly and diligently, and Beyond the Nightfall was released July of 2012.
The band's sound is a typical progressive metal sound and will appeal to fans of DREAM THEATER and CIRCUS MAXIMUS.
