“Kylie Minogue” – пятый студийный альбом Кайли Миноуг, релиз которого состоялся 19 сентября 1994 г. Лейбл Deconstruction Records/BMG выпустил его в большинстве стран мира, Imago Records – в США, Mushroom – в Австралии и Новой Зеландии.
“Kylie Minogue” – первый релиз Кайли после завершения ее сотрудничества с командой Stock, Aitken & Waterman. Кайли приняла активнейшее участие в планировании альбома и пригласила к сотрудничеству многих музыкантов и продюсеров. Первые записи в студии прошли в 1993 г., их результат – 2 песни, записанные с Saint Etienne, и 8 в сотрудничестве с The Rapino Brothers. Однако руководство Deconstruction's A&R решило, что они идут не в том направлении, и 16 новых песен были записаны – 6 с Brothers In Rhythm, 4 с Jimmy Harry, 3 с Gerry DeVeaux, 2 с Pete Heller и Terry Farley и 1 с M People. Также 2 песни с Rapino Brothers были перезаписаны с Brothers In Rhythm.
Окончательная версия песни "Falling", написанной Pet Shop Boys, отличается от демо-версии, записанной группой с Кайли. Основой демо стала кавер-версия песни "Go West" группы The Village People, однако такие песни в то время не были модными в клубной среде, которую Кайли и Deconstruction пытались завоевать. Оригинальная демо-версия песни группы Pet Shop Boys (с вокалом Neil Tennant) войдет на переиздание альбома “Very” (2001). Позже Кайли и Pet Shop Boys запишут дуэт "In Denial".
На обложке альбома Кайли решила представить себя серьезным артистом, а не вульгарным сексуальным котенком, поэтому Кайли одета в консервативный брючный костюм и очки в оправе. Многие модные критике посчитали это эксцентричным.
Музыкальные критики похвалили Кайли за объективность и энтузиазм, однако большинство критиков остались разочарованными.
По версии одного из авторов и продюсеров альбома Steve Anderson, в мире было продано 2 миллиона копий альбома, однако официальный сайт Кайли говорит о 500000 копий.
В мае 2003 г. альбом был переиздан и дополнен диском с ремиксами.
