I love a morning when the world and I 

cross into it from opposite sides 

our houses line up in a row  

lights catching from window to window. 

Don't rub every dream out of your eyes

I'm trying to scrach the night in mine.

I hold this vision of you high

I hold it as the first wave of traffic goes by.
